Shawn A. Bozarth

Shawn Bozarth has been an attorney for over twenty five years. Seventeen of those years were spent as a magistrate and judge adjudicating over 12,000 complex cases, including social security (state supplement) and other disability cases, health care appeals from nursing homes, child abuse, worker's compensation, entitlement appeals, juvenile delinquency and dependency. Mr. Bozarth wrote the procedural rules for the Bureau of Hearings and Appeals, Department of Public Welfare and was a regional chief judge, during which his region achieved a nearly perfect regulatory adjudications.

Mr. Bozarth has been a trial attorney at the state and federal level, defending criminal defendants in death penalty cases and other serious felony cases. Additionally, Mr. Bozarth has represented children and parents in family law situations. Mr. Bozarth has a strong trial record, even though he only litigates when an acceptable compromise cannot be found or no other choice exists.

Mr. Bozarth resides in Pennsylvania wife his Eileen and his cat Firkin. Mr. Bozarth enjoys reading books on history, traveling and sailing.
